“The Carnival of Animals” is a classic piece for children in 14 movements that represent different animals — a turtle, hens and roosters, elephants, fish, kangaroos, and more - and it is performed widely as it is regarded as one of the great pieces to introduce classical music to children.  WCO will open the concert with another audience favorite "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" by W.A. Mozart.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students under 18 and free for children under 12.  Tickets at the door or at the WCO web site The concert is sponsored by the City of Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts Festival and made possible by a grant from the City’s Commission on the Arts.
